Cogenesis IT Consulting is a leading outsourced IT services company that provides full circle Managed IT Support to businesses Australia wide.  We are seeking a motivated individual that wants to be part of the dynamic team

This is an excellent opportunity to become an instrumental part of a customer focused support team that will allow you to work across a varied technical environment and develop your skills.

What does a first line Support Engineer do?

  • Support Windows platforms, Active Directory and applications (Windows XP/7, MS Office, Exchange Mailbox administration) and other applications such as antivirus and email applications;
  • You will have a ‘Hands on’ problem solving approach
  • Log all calls using the IT Helpdesk System and ensure all issues are resolved in the agreed times scales.
  • Contribute fully as an active team member, to ensure personal and team objectives are achieved or surpassed.

If you can tick the boxes below then we want to talk to you:

  • Good knowledge of using a call logging system
  • Proficient with Windows based systems. Apple / Linux optional.
  • Experience with Domain environments
  • you must have a friendly aptitude, enjoy multitasking... and most importantly like people and problem solving!
  • Honest, responsible, diligent, organised and knowledgeable
  • MCP or MCSE is a plus
